CICCIOLINA and her NAIF soul
CICCIOLINA with her FLOWER POWER crown: the unmistakable “fashion-mania” that follows the famous GLOBAL POP DIVA at every event.
A new kind of sexuality
In a world corrupted by religious hypocrisy and intellectual repression, I managed to invent a natural sexuality: exhibited, explicit, spectacular, symbolic, commercial, yet bright, optimistic, youthful, and paradoxically pure—because it is true.
Why the flower crown?
I wear the flower crown because I feel Botticellian. I adore Botticelli—it’s a refined botanical symbol, inspired by his depiction of the myth of Spring’s rebirth: love and sex as the force of new life.
The meaning of the crown
The flower crown stands for awards, honors, completeness, perfection, immortality, and greatness—just like CICCIOLINA. I was the original LADY GAGA, long before she existed.
The birth of the first crown
It all began in a Roman shopping center (now COIN). I found a flower necklace, wrapped it around my head, and transformed it into my first crown—born by chance and instinct.
My first Flower Power appearances
I was the first to show a bare breast on Rai-TV and the first to perform full nudity in a nightclub.
The flower crown was my invention—just like Diva Futura, my world-renowned agency for erotic performers.
Iconic moments
I’ll never forget the 1979 flower parade at Campo de’ Fiori, or the Nice Carnival, where local florists created crowns of real flowers for me.
The “porno-baby” revolution
I created a unique character—sexual and childlike at the same time: the Italian Lolita with a flower crown.
Radio and the Cicciolini
On my famous Radio Luna show Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?, I affectionately called my listeners Cicciolini, a word evoking tenderness and natural sensuality.
More than fashion: a symbol
The flower crown became a style. From Selena Gomez to underground icons, it reappeared everywhere—but mine was the original Hippy-Chic crown. A romantic rebellion, both sweet and provocative.
From trendsetter to timeless
The crown links me to the late ‘60s Flower Power movement. It’s back on stage during my Special Guest nights and worn today by brides seeking a romantic, bohemian vibe.
My collection of crowns
In my Roman penthouse, I have every style:
– Rich and floral like at the GIVENCHY party
– Soft pastel tones for LGBT club nights
– Ultra-chic handmade pieces with Strass
– Golden leaf crowns for New Year’s Eve
Evolution of the crown
From silk and plastic to woodland crowns with evergreen, hawthorn, birds, butterflies… then crystal crowns and faux poppies. Always paired with classic outfits—because flowers on the head are serious.
My most special crown
Created by Jean Paul Gaultier: real flowers, custom-designed for my runway show. A riot of color, a triumph on stage.
Today’s favorite style
Oversized floral crowns, elegant and Botticellian—headbands, fascinators, garlands that frame the face. A MUST in my style.
My message with the flower crown
Every time I wear it, I wish for peace, love, and an end to war.
I love you all.
