Special Guest for Events and Openings

“The Power of Love” – Givenchy Party, Milan Fashion Week 2015
“The Power of Love” was the name of the exclusive party organized to celebrate Riccardo Tisci’s ten-year anniversary at Givenchy (2005–2015).
I took part in this exclusive event as Special Guest during Milan Fashion Week, alongside other artists and models such as Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Beatrice Borromeo, Donatella Versace, Franca Sozzani, and Gianna Nannini.

I was personally invited by Givenchy through Riccardo Tisci, who I consider like a big brother—someone I admire and respect deeply. After the huge success of the New York Fashion Week, Riccardo brought the event to Italy with a spectacular party and runway show in Milan, filled with international jet-set personalities. Riccardo adores me and considers me his global icon, always wanting me by his side at exclusive Givenchy events. That’s why I immediately accepted the invitation to attend this iconic Milanese soirée.

On this page, you can view photos from the prestigious 2015 edition of Milan Fashion Week.

At the court of Givenchy, through my brother in art Riccardo Tisci, came some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, including the angel of my heart, my dearest friend and soul sister: Naomi Campbell.
I also frequently attended international haute couture events, including runway shows by Jean Paul Gaultier and other fashion legends.

My Debut in Contemporary Art – October 2015
October 2015 marked the beginning of my involvement in contemporary art exhibitions. I was a special guest at the 1st Virgilio International Art Award – Artist in History in Brindisi, organized by the cultural association “Arte74” (chaired by Professor Giuseppe Maci).
The event celebrated the decade-long activity of the association and honored the figure of Virgil, the demigod of Latin poetry.

The important event was held in the Conference Hall of the 16th-century Convent of Santa Chiara, and included disciplines such as poetry, painting, graphic arts, sculpture, music, dance, theater, cinema, and photography.
There was a rich lineup of guests and an attentive audience who came to admire my contemporary artworks, exhibited alongside artists from Norway, Spain, France, Belgium, Canada, the USA, and various Italian cities.

Special awards were also given to Flavia Pennetta, winner of the US Open in New York, and Maestro Tito Schipa Jr, the legendary talent scout who discovered Renato Zero, Loredana Bertè, and many others.

For the first time ever, my own artworks were presented in a public exhibition.
The organizers strongly desired to include my work in this global premiere, which soon led to high-profile international acquisition inquiries.

What does Cicciolina have to do with Prada?
In May 2017, I was a special guest at the vernissage of Francesco Vezzoli’s exhibition at Fondazione Prada.
I attended the Resort Collection fashion show at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and later the exclusive vernissage of Vezzoli’s exhibition at the foundation.

It was a special Sunday in the spirit of Milanese fashion, beginning with an afternoon presentation at Osservatorio Prada, where the Resort Collection was staged.
Among the front row stars were Susan Sarandon in black leather, Courtney Love in floral prints, and Bianca Jagger in total pink—all dressed in Prada.

Now, Prada isn’t worn just by the Devil, but also by a former global porn diva like me, Ilona Staller, wearing a black sheath dress with a pink feathered overcoat and a princess tiara on my platinum hair.

TV70 at Fondazione Prada
A highlight was also my participation at Fondazione Prada for the TV70 exhibition, curated by Francesco Vezzoli, who selected five iconic programs from RAI’s golden era.
Among them, the show “C’era due volte”, where I was the star on state television, was featured prominently.

RAI in those years was not only revolutionary but also courageous.
In a country largely dominated by Christian Democrats, “C’era due volte” was a bold challenge to Catholic hegemony.
Hosted by Daniele Piombi and myself as Cicciolina, we reimagined classic fairy tales, turning them into provocative stories for an adult, sharp-witted audience.

Going to Fondazione Prada in Milan to experience the TV70 installation felt like a speedball of entertainment and knowledge, generating value through the exhibit, its catalogue, and related materials.
From performances by the Kessler Twins, Mina, and Raffaella Carrà, to Cicciolina in “C’era due volte,” the experience led visitors through a dark corridor of RAI’s vast archives, specifically from the 1970s.

I’m proud to have taken part in this important project by Francesco Vezzoli:
A curatorial masterpiece divided into three sections—politics, art, entertainment—and enriched by RAI’s archives and set design by M/M (Paris), creating a vibrant journey through video, lights, and immersive projections.

L’OFFICIEL – Spain, April 2018
In April 2018, I took part in a major photo project for the prestigious international magazine L’OFFICIEL, specifically for its Spanish edition.

Dreams… (Not Only Dreams)
If Calderón de la Barca brought human freedom to the stage with La vida es sueño, then Cicciolina, the international porn diva of the ‘80s, did the same for the world of erotica.
And freedom is the main theme of Issue 25 of L’Officiel, in which I was the main feature.

During a delightful party held at Club Matador in Madrid on April 26, 2018, I was an honored guest, dining with the editorial staff of L’Officiel.
It was a special opportunity to discuss the intense stage of my life, as well as my controversial experience in Italian politics.

It hasn’t been easy—maybe because of my past in porn—but it’s been very rewarding to contribute to greater freedom for women, not only in sexuality but also in decision-making and autonomy.

Ilona Staller has become a myth—a symbol of freedom, courage, and simplicity, as L’Officiel noted.
That’s exactly how I was: sensual, charismatic, self-aware, and proud of my fans.

A lover of healthy living, a glass of red wine, and an unapologetic exhibitionist of my breasts, always ready to teach something.
But when it comes to what truly matters, it’s clear: my son is my life.

As L’Officiel describes: I appeared in a blue mermaid gown, a personal gift to the entire L’Officiel team and to my beloved Madrid.
