My artistic career is not only about the jet-set of fashion events or Special Guest nights in trendy clubs, it’s also about 20th-century television, with its trendsetting shows, current affairs programs, and of course, Talk Shows and Reality Shows.
The Farm – UK (2005)
2005 marked my participation in the British reality show “The Farm”, a type of program where unscripted dramatic and humorous situations unfold, experienced by the participants as if they were part of real life.
In that edition—which achieved high ratings thanks to my special appearance—I was in front of the cameras alongside American actress Charlene Tilton (known for the famous TV series Dallas) and Ron Jeremy, one of my co-stars from adult film sets.
Other well-known figures also took part in this famous UK reality show, produced by renowned production company ENDEMOL UK.
Bailando por un sueño – Argentina (2008)
After trying to join the Italian version of “L’Isola dei Famosi” in 2008, I found great success in Argentina, where the audience welcomed me with enthusiasm as I joined the local version of “Dancing with the Stars”, titled “Bailando por un sueño.”
Unfortunately, I had to leave the show due to a rib fracture during rehearsals.
Still, my debut as a dancer was a success: I entered the stage wearing a sky-blue dress and a fur boa, live on Canal 13 from Buenos Aires, performing to the iconic “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor.
Even though I didn’t pass the jury’s evaluation, my personality and energy—especially during a playful exchange with host Marcelo Tinelli—won over the public, both in the studio (with a standing ovation) and at home, where 63% of the televoting audience saved me.
In interviews, I explained that apart from the broken rib, I never aimed to win the show.
I have danced during my performances, and I will continue to do so, but this show—much more demanding than the Italian version—required a high level of technical skill.
“Bailando por un sueño” allowed me to reconnect with the Argentinian public, always passionate and warm toward me.
The producers are still enthusiastic about my participation to this day.
L’Isola dei Famosi – Italy (2017)
In 2017, I almost joined the 12th edition of “L’Isola dei Famosi”.
A few weeks before the show’s start, with the full cast not yet confirmed, my name started circulating among the potential contestants.
At the last minute, my participation was not confirmed.
However, a future appearance in this incredible reality show remains very likely.
Celeb Vagyok, ments ki innen! – Hungary (2017)
Also in 2017, I received an interesting email from a producer at RTL KLUB TV, inviting me to participate in Hungary’s most famous reality show: “Celeb Vagyok, ments ki innen!”
It’s similar to “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”, set in the South African jungle, where celebrities must survive in nature, collecting water and food, and facing challenges involving snakes, spiders, and all kinds of exotic insects.
After signing the contract, I filmed several promotional spots in Hungary and, on November 23, I departed for Johannesburg on Air France flight AF990.
After a 12-hour flight, we arrived at the hotel for interviews, and the next day took a private plane into the jungle.
From the start, I managed my energy wisely to face the harsh conditions we were thrown into.
Some participants gave up after just a few days, unable to cope with the deprivation, discomfort, and isolation.
But I endured almost until the end, reaching the final stages of the competition.
I faced snakes, spiders, and insects crawling all over my body—but the Cicciolina in me felt perfectly at home, as I’ve always loved nature, animals, and all living things.
An experience I would absolutely do again
Participating in a survival reality show was the most beautiful adventure in the world for me.
What we lack in daily life can make us stronger—and you only understand that by being deprived of it.
That’s why I hope to be invited to other survival-themed reality shows in the future.
I’m ready for more adventures in major Reality TV productions.
